As a quilter, I aim to create pieces that are striking from across the room and lovely up-close. My designs balance color, pattern and shape; simplicity and complexity.
As a graphic designer, I know good design doesn’t date and can be a part of any space to create interest and delight.
Personally, I love being able to work with design in a much more physical way. As a (former) digital designer, my work only existed on a computer screen as tiny mobile ads. Being able to touch and handle the prints, especially at such a large scale, has been a fantastic change of pace for me.
